Bridge Lodge is... read more the best place to stay if you are prepared for the truly immersive ganga experience. It balances convenience and luxury. We stayed in a superdelux room with private balcony. The management is very polite and helpful. They try to help as much as possible. The hotel is right on the Ganga ghat and Har Ki Pauri is just 4-5 mins of walk away. The view from the balcony is the best! We wanted to just relax and soak in the spirituality the city has to offer. The lodge made it possible since it has good access to both the ghat and the upper road. The lodge doesnt provide food but give you cutlery if you order from outside. We ordered once on Zomato (there is food delivery here) and next time got food packed from a very famous eatery in the market. The lodge does not have an onsite parking but paid parking at Deen Dayal Parking lot is extremely safe and secure. The parking space is just 10mins walk away from the hotel. You can see the sunrise from the hotel balcony, hear ganga arati (not see it though) and watch people as they come to celebrate their faith. You can experience the colorful life on the ghats sitting right in the balcony. The rooms are clean and decent, bed linens are soft and clean, bathroom has a good, workable water geaser. We could just walk to Har Ki Pauri, take a dip and walk back in wet clothes because the hotel is so near. It was a great experience and I highly recommend this lodge.

Tip - After booking your stay online, you should always call the management to confirm and also ask them for the kind of room you want. They are very helpful and most of the time, they try to provide the kind of room you expect.

  This hotel beats others with its excellent location just on the Har Ki Pauri ghat. They have their private stairs too to reach the ghat. This seems to be a... read more very old property, room was big and they arranged an extra bed also for us.
Athough this is not a luxury hotel, basic amenities were so so. Toilet is bit dirty.
